Joint Assessment, Analysing Muscles in Action, & Functional Movement Screening

Attending both Upper and Lower Body courses may lead to a VTCT Award in Sports Injures - see below. The combined courses are also endorsed by the Register for Exercise Professionals (REPS). These courses are ideal for coaches, trainers, rehabilitators, nurses, and sports massage practitioners.

The aim of each of these courses is to give you an understanding of predisposing factors and assessment of commonly suffered injuries and conditions in sports. The courses compliment the range of knowledge and skills of soft tissue assessments learned on our Level 4 Sports Massage Practitioner Diploma course. We will illustrate a detailed approach to the structure and function of each major joint, examine the mechanisms leading to injury and consider repair and treatment options, including manual and exercise therapy techniques.

Each course (for Upper or Lower Limb) is ideal for sports rehabilitators, nurses, and Level 4 soft tissue therapists, and is an ideal way of progressing towards Level 5 as part of our Flexible Award Programme.

This course forms a compulsory Module towards our Higher Diploma in Sports Therapy, or may be taken as CPD
