The aim of this course is to help you understand the science of training and to be able to offer appropriate guidance to clients to help improve both muscle strength and length whilst returning to fitness according to specific client needs. The course will blend the underpinning theory and practical application of assisted stretching and strength exercises to all major muscle groups.
Entry Requirements
This course has been formed to complement and enhance the skills of a sports massage therapist but may be equally beneficial to other people working or participating in sport, such as coaches, trainers, first aiders and others.
Applicants must be aged 18 years or over and be physically able to participate. The course is suitable for sports-care practitioners, first-aiders, runners, etc.
To join our Exercise Advice and Assisted Stretching Course you must be over 18 years old, physically able to do the work and have good communication skills. All course handouts will be provided to help you during the practical training.
Course Fees
The fee is £120 and you may claim 8 credits for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
For anyone enrolled upon, or about to enrol on our Level 3 VTCT Sports Massage Diploma Course who would like to add this to their existing training, you will be entitled to our Loyalty Discount being a reduction of 25% from the above course fee.
