Assignments & Examinations
Practical
An assessment of your knowledge combined with practical skills in the application of electrotherapy and your ability to assess injuries will be carried out during the practical course. A personal Course Record will show that the required tasks, skills and knowledge have been achieved before receiving your Diploma.
Project
During the course you will be required to complete a project to investigate the use of electrotherapy in sport. You will be asked to select a project title and the feasibility of your chosen area of research will be discussed during the practical training. You will then be required to collate data, study research papers and support conclusions to your project. This research project is an important part of your assessed course work and must be completed within 12 months of finishing your practical training in order to qualify. Professional Indemnity Insurance for students may be arranged during this period so that you are able to carry out treatments towards your research project.
