These qualifications meet National Occupational Standards (NOS) which are mapped against the The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). The QCF is the new framework for creating and accrediting qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Sports Massage CertificateThis course provides an excellent start to professional practise, enabling you to provide sports massage with the aims of enhancing performance and preventing injury. You will also be eligible for SMA Level 3 membership and to progress to the Diploma course with exemptions from the first part of the course.
Sports Massage Practitioner Diploma
The Certificate course forms the start of the Diploma allowing you complete flexibility to attain different levels of professional practise at intervals of up to 2 years apart. This Award leads to Level 4 membership with The Sports Massage Association.
Anatomy & Physiology Certificate
This is a home study course which is an integral part of the Sports Massage Practitioner Diploma course, or may be studied as a stand-alone award.
Sports Nutrition Certificate
A home study course designed to start and progress at a pace to suit you.This course will give you the knowledge and skills to advise clients on dietary and fluid intake in relation to sport and exercise.
Includes essential skills for all those working with sports and active people.
Electrotherapy Diploma
This course is for those established practitioners looking to broaden their range of available modalities and therefore requires a working knowledge of the treatment of injuries.
