We are a private company formed in 2001 to provide training in sports therapy leading to professional qualifications, as well as offering corporate training in healthcare.
Tutors
Our tutors are leading experts within their specialist areas and several are established university lecturers, senior lecturers, and experienced practitioners. Through each of them we are continuously evolving our courses to ensure that both our educational material and tutors advance with current trends and adopt the latest research. 'Evidence based practise' is a key phrase that has become a cornerstone within the industry. With our links into higher education and with full-time practitioners, we build and develop our training around this principle.
Tim Paine
Sports Therapy UK runs practical training courses from the University of Bedfordshire where company registrar Tim Paine is a senior lecturer and Award Leader for their sports therapy BSc degree programme. Tim has a Masters degree in sports therapy training and is also author of The Complete Guide to Sports Massage which forms the core text for our own Certificate course in Sports Massage as well as sports massage modules at some Universities.
